Boarding
Welcome to Frankie’s Paws and Play — Your Dog’s Home Away from Home
We’re not your typical boarding facility. Frankie has opened her personal home to create a warm, intimate experience for your pup—think of it as a bed and breakfast for dogs. Here, your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are our top priorities. We believe dogs thrive in a home environment, and that’s exactly what we provide.
We welcome a small group of 10–15 dogs at a time and thoughtfully organize playgroups of 5–7 dogs, based on temperament, energy level, and age. This ensures everyone has a fun, safe, and enriching experience.
For senior dogs, pups with special needs, or those who prefer solo time, we provide private yard sessions tailored to their comfort level. Your dog’s well-being and safety are always our highest priority.
Each day at Frankie’s includes plenty of structured, supervised outdoor time for socializing, playing, and potty breaks. Indoors, every dog has their own cozy suite with a comfy bed and crate where they can rest peacefully. We take our time with feedings, and we make sure all dogs get time to rest and digest after meals.
We take pride in truly getting to know your dog’s personality—their likes, dislikes, and unique needs—to ensure their stay with us feels like the best vacation they’ve ever had. Frankie is trained in dog behavior and dog psychology, allowing her to understand and fulfill each dog’s needs with care and expertise.
While your pup is with us, you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and videos via WhatsApp, and we’ll also share happy moments on our social media so you can follow along with their stay.
At Frankie’s, your dog isn’t just a guest—they’re family.

Getting Started: Booking Your Dog’s Stay at Frankie’s
When you’re ready to book your dog’s stay, we’ll begin with a virtual meet-and-greet via WhatsApp. During this video call, we’ll give you a personal tour of the home and backyard, answer any questions you have, and learn more about your pup. Prefer to stop by in person? We’re happy to schedule an in-home visit as well.
Requirements for Boarding
To ensure a safe and healthy environment for all our guests, we ask that all dogs meet the following requirements:
Vaccinations required:
– Rabies
– Distemper
– Bordetella (must be updated every 6 months)
Spay/Neuter Policy:
Dogs over 6 months of age who are not spayed or neutered will enjoy private yard time to maintain a safe and balanced atmosphere.
Crate Training:
Dogs must be crate trained to stay at Frankie’s. If your pup needs help with crate training, we’re happy to refer you to a trusted local trainer.
Medication & Special Care
We’re able to administer medications—including insulin—for a small additional fee. Just let us know your dog’s specific needs, and we’ll ensure they are met with care and attention.
What to Bring
On the day of arrival, please pack the following:
– Your dog’s food, portioned into individual ziplock bags, clearly labeled with their name (use a black Sharpie to prevent fading)
– Their favorite treats
– Optional: a shirt or item with your scent to help your dog feel even more at home
We look forward to welcoming your dog into our home and giving them the happiest, most peaceful stay possible!

Frankie cares about animals in a truly deep and inspiring way. She’s always given excellent advice and helped me realize things about my dog I never knew or understood. After experiencing other people with similar services, I won’t take my dog anywhere else.

I was new to town and needed care for my pup. She spent time getting to know his needs. She doesn’t just babysit, she will work with them on any behavioral or training needs. She caters to each individual dog and my dog gets excited to see her. It’s a peace of mind to be traveling and know my baby is taken care of and on his own little doggy vacation. She picks them up, drops them off, and is always available and flexible. I’ll always use Frankie and recommend her to all my friends.
Frankie and her hand picked crew of dog walkers are so loving and kind and attentive to our dog’s needs. Frankies calm demeanor is perfect to insure that everyone gets along.
When Jersey was young she had tummy problems all the time. Frankie introduced me to activated charcoal and pumpkin, saving me $$ on vet bills and settling her belly.
