Boarding

We are not a regular boarding facility; we are truly your dog’s home away from home. Frankie has opened up her home for an intimate boarding experience for your dog. Think: “bed and breakfast” for dogs. Your dog’s comfort is our main priority, and we believe that dogs feel most comfortable in a home environment.

We take in around 10-15 dogs at a time and create play groups of 5-7 dogs max based on temperament, energy level, and age.

Senior dogs, dogs with special needs, or any behavioral issues with other dogs will get their private yard time. Your dog’s safety is our utmost priority.

At Frankie’s your dog will have plenty of outdoor time to socialize, play and go potty. Play time is structured and always supervised. Inside, each dog has their own little suite area with a bed and crate to rest in. We make sure to take our time feeding everyone and they get to rest after breakfast and dinner to digest their food.

We really take our time to get to know your dog’s individual personality, their likes and dislikes to make their stay at Frankie’s the best vacation they’ve ever had. Frankie is trained in dog behavior and dog psychology to really understand and fulfill your dog’s individual needs.

While your dog is staying with us, we will send you pictures, videos and updates via WhatsApp as well as post videos and pictures on our social media.

Process:

When you are ready to book your dog’s stay with Frankie, we will start with a video call via WhatsApp to give you a virtual tour of the home and yard area. If you prefer to come to the house yourself, we can arrange that as well.

We require all dogs to be up to date on their vaccines: Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella (Bordetella updated every 6 months)

Dogs that aren’t spayed or neutered by 6 months of age will have their private yard time to ensure everyone’s safety.

Dogs must be crate trained to be able to stay at Frankie’s. If your dog is not crate trained, we can refer you to a local trainer to help with this.

We are able to administer medication – including insulin – at a small surcharge.

On the day of arrival, please have your dog’s food packed in individual zip lock bags with your dog’s name written on it (use a black sharpie for this so the name doesn’t fade or come off), treats, and, if you like, bring a shirt or item with your scent on it to make your dog feel more comfortable.

Pick up and drop off hours:

7AM – 10:30AM
10:30am – 2pm – (Closed)
2:30PM – 6:30PM

If you can’t make it during our regular drop off and pick up hours, we offer an extended window from 9:30AM to 12:30PM for an added half-day daycare rate.

Can’t make the drive out to Frankie’s home? We offer a valet service where we pick up and drop off your dog at your home between 11:30AM – 1:30PM or 7:30PM – 8:30PM. Valet rates depend on your location, so please contact us directly for more information.

We may ask to do a half day trial run with your dog for a small fee to ensure it’s a good fit for our environment.

*Please note: We are not able to take in any human aggressive dogs.
